Stop typing
serial numbers
Verifi is your test instrument accuracy record – and your whole instrument fleet is now one tap from every certificate box in iCertifi. No accounts. No signal. No squinting at a label by torchlight.
You know the routine. Certificate open, cursor blinking in the serial number box, and you are on your knees in a dark cupboard reading the label on the back of your MFT by torchlight. Or scrolling three months of camera roll for the one photo you took of it.
Then you do it again for continuity. And loop impedance. And RCD. That is a lot of typing that has nothing to do with electrical work.
That job is now gone. iCertifi talks to Verifi.
FIG. 1 - THE DATA PATH
One tap. Box filled.
There is a small blue gauge beside every instrument box on any EIC, Domestic EIC, EV certificate or EICR. That is the whole feature.

FIG. 1 – NO ACCOUNTS. NO SERVER. NO SIGNAL REQUIRED.
Tap it and your instruments appear exactly as you recorded them in Verifi. Make, model, serial number, calibration status. Pick one and the serial number writes itself.
FIG. 2 - INSTRUMENT SCHEDULE
Every box. Its own instrument.
Grabbed a different tester for the RCD tests? Every box has its own button, so every box can hold a different instrument.

FIG. 3 - TEST INSTRUMENT ACCURACY RECORD CHECK
It stops you before you sign.
Verifi holds your test instrument accuracy record, so it knows when every calibration runs out. iCertifi warns you before you certify with a tester that is out of date.

FIG. 3 – CHECK RUNS ON EVERY PICK, BEFORE THE BOX IS FILLED.
The assessor question, answered. When NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA ask to see your test instrument accuracy record, you can show them. The app checks, every single time, before the box is filled.
TYPICAL DETAIL - DEFAULT INSTRUMENT
Set it once. Forget it forever.
Open Contractor Details, set your everyday MFT with the same gauge button, and it pre-fills the serial number on every new certificate you create.

NOTES - INSTALLATION
Three minutes to set up.
Update both apps
iCertifi and Verifi need to be on the same iPhone or iPad. Grab the latest of both from the App Store.
Open Verifi once
Add your instruments if they are not in there already. Make, model, serial number, calibration dates. Verifi is free to download.
Tap the gauge
Open iCertifi, start or edit a certificate, tap the gauge beside any instrument box. Done. No accounts to link, nothing leaves your device.
NOTE: TAP THE GAUGE BEFORE VERIFI IS SET UP AND iCERTIFI EXPLAINS WHAT IT DOES AND OFFERS THE DOWNLOAD ON THE SPOT.
SPECIFICATION
What you need.
That is the lot. The connection is automatic, private, and works with no signal. Basements, plant rooms, risers, lift motor rooms. Everywhere electricians actually work.
Never type a serial
number again
Verifi is free. Install it, add your kit, and watch your certificates fill themselves in.
