GasCert: CP12 Gas Certificates

Version 2.0 ·

GasCert 2.0 — What's New

GAS CERT 2.0

Twenty new certificates, a rebuilt CP12, and a redesigned way to fill
everything in.

NEW CERTIFICATES — 26 in total, up from 6
• Gas domestic: CP9, CP26, Benchmark commissioning, domestic purge,
service checklist
• Gas commercial: CP17, CP16, CP15, CP42, CP43, CP44, CP3
• Oil (OFTEC): CD/10, CD/11, CD/12, CD/14, TI/133D tank risk assessment,
tank installation
• Water & heating: Legionella risk assessment, unvented G3, system cleanse

A REBUILT CP12
• Stays landscape, the way the paper record does, with the appliances as
columns in one table
• Now two pages instead of three

APPLIANCES
• Swipe to delete an appliance — previously you could add but never remove
• Deleting one keeps the numbered answers with the right appliance
• Duplicating a certificate now keeps every appliance's Make, Model and
Flue type, and prints them in the order you entered them

DATA ENTRY
• Every certificate rebuilt as grouped cards, with completion ticks
• iPad: a permanent checklist sidebar, so you can jump between sections
• Quick Preview shows the certificate as you fill it in

ALSO
• Five gas calculators, grouped by the job: at the meter, sizing the
installation, safety and compliance
• Boiler fault code lookup
• Redesigned subscription screen showing real prices for your country
• Certificate menu on every screen: save, send, duplicate, mark as sent

FIXES
• Fixed a crash when opening any of the calculators
• Fixed Quick Preview opening an empty sheet on iPad
• Fixed the Gas Warning Notice camera saving nothing and leaving you
stuck on the camera screen
• Fixed subscribers being refused access to their own saved certificates
• Removed the app sounds (the gas rate timer still beeps)

iCertifi: Electrical Certs

Version 12.12.53 ·

Bug fixes and improvements:
• Fixed: some certificates printed an incorrect "Originally issued under BS 7671:2018+A2:2022" line across the bottom of the page, overlapping the standard footer text. Certificates created before the Amendment 4 update, or duplicated from one, were affected. Your test results and the declaration were always correct — the error was in this one printed line only.
• To correct a certificate you've already issued: open it, tap Revise, then export it again. The corrected PDF keeps its original issue date.
• Client Hub now spots and merges duplicate clients automatically, and prevents new duplicates being created.

PAT Test Pro

Version 1.8 ·

What's New in 1.8

A newly designed certificate
• The PAT certificate has been completely redesigned and now prints at true print quality
• A clear summary of tested, passed and failed appliances sits at the top of the front page
• The appliance register now fits over 40 appliances per page, ideal for large jobs
• Failed appliances print with their photo on a dedicated photo evidence page
• Asset Record exports use the new design too

Easier data entry
• Every screen has been rebuilt with grouped cards that are easier to read and quicker to fill in
• The Next button now tells you where it goes
• A redesigned certificate menu with clear sections and icons
• A new signing panel with smoother, more natural ink

New: Clients
• A new Clients tab on the Dashboard builds your client book automatically from the jobs already on your device
• See every job for a client, keep notes, and get reminders before their retests fall due
• Tap a reminder and the app takes you straight to that client

Works with our other apps
• Pick your test instrument straight from Verifi on the Contractor Details screen, no more typing serial numbers
• Connect Mint Books and completed certificates raise draft invoices automatically, priced per appliance if you choose

Accuracy: IET Code of Practice, 5th Edition
• Test limits updated to the 5th Edition, including Class II FE
• The printed label now shows the appliance's recorded result
• RCD testing can now be recorded
• Printing the retest date on labels is now a setting, off by default in line with the Code
• Calendar reminders now use the retest interval you record, not a fixed year

Fixes and reliability
• Appliance photos are no longer cropped and print at a proper size
• A failed AI scan now keeps the photo you took
• Duplicated certificates keep their appliance order
• Backup and Restore is more reliable
• Many stability and crash fixes throughout

Verifi - Accuracy Record
