Progress Sharing and the Apple Wallet certificate card
Your client follows the certificate on a private link, keeps it in Apple Wallet, and is reminded before the next inspection is due. You turn it on for one certificate, from that certificate’s own menu.

A card in Apple Wallet, not a PDF in a folder
On an iPhone your client adds the certificate to Apple Wallet. The card carries what a property owner actually needs, and it updates itself.
- Your firm name and the certificate type, with the full name of the certificate
- The property, and the result where the certificate has one
- NEXT INSPECTION DUE and ISSUED
- A QR code that opens the progress page
- On the back: the full certificate name, the certificate reference, and your phone, email and website

It tells them, so they do not ring you
The card is a live pass. When the certificate moves on, the card changes and the alert appears on the lock screen, on iPhone and on Apple Watch.
- Status alerts at Testing, Review Pending, Certificate Completed and Sent to Client
- One reminder 30 days before the next inspection is due, naming the certificate, the property, your firm and your phone number
- Until then the back of the card says: We will remind you 30 days before the next inspection is due
What your client sees, and what they do not
The progress page opens in any browser. No app, no sign in, no account.
- Certificate type, current status and your company name
- A masked certificate reference, last 4 characters only
- The outward part of the property postcode only, for example SW1A
- No test results and no observations are ever shared
The Wallet card carries more than the page, and anyone holding the link can add it on an iPhone: the first line of the property address, the full postcode, the certificate reference, the next inspection date and your contact details from Contractor Details.

Three taps to turn it on
Progress Sharing is per certificate. Nothing is shared until you turn it on for that one job.
Turn it on
Open the certificate, then Progress Sharing in its menu, then Turn On Progress Sharing.
Send the link
Send Link to Client sends a designed email with your firm at the top. The link also goes out with the certificate when you email it.
They follow it
Your client watches the stages, adds the card to Apple Wallet, and gets the alerts and the reminder. Stop Progress Sharing ends it: the link stops answering and the card stops updating.
Which certificates get a Wallet card
Every certificate type can have a progress link and a progress page. These five also get an Apple Wallet card, as long as the certificate has a property address on it.
Questions
Does my client need the app?
No. They open the link in any browser and see the current status of the work. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign in to.
Are my test results shown?
No. No test results and no observations are ever shared. The page shows the certificate type, the status, your company name, a masked reference and the outward part of the postcode.
Which subscription do I need?
iCertifi Cloud Pro Enterprise, Team 5 or Team 10. Every seat holder on a team gets it. It is not part of the single user Monthly or Annual plans.
Can I stop sharing?
Yes, at any time, from the same sheet. Stop Progress Sharing makes the link stop answering and the card stop updating.
Does it work on Android?
The progress page opens on any phone, tablet or computer. The Wallet card is an Apple Wallet pass, so adding it needs an iPhone.
What if the certificate has no address yet?
The link and the progress page still work. The Wallet card needs the installation or works address on the certificate, because the card shows the property.
