What can I scan?
The whole distribution board, a single circuit, or a hand-written or printed Schedule of Test Results. Board Vision reads each one and fills in iCertifi for you.
Can I scan just one circuit?
Yes. Single Circuit mode lets you capture or update one way at a time, handy after a board alteration or to fill a gap.
Can it read a paper certificate or schedule?
Yes. Photograph a typed or hand-written Schedule of Test Results and Board Vision pulls in the readings, conductor sizes, R1+R2, insulation resistance, Zs, RCD trip times, polarity and more, checking each against BS 7671 as it goes.
Which boards does it work with?
Single-phase UK consumer units, split-load, dual-RCD, high-integrity, all-RCBO and single-RCD boards, including multi-row units.
Does it work with three-phase boards?
Three-phase (TP&N) board scanning is coming soon. Today it is optimised for single-phase consumer units.
Can it tell an MCB from an RCBO or AFDD?
Yes. It looks for test buttons, mA ratings and AFDD markings to tell the three apart, and assigns the matching BS EN standard automatically.
How accurate is it?
It gives you a fast, reliable first read and always shows you everything to review before importing. You confirm or correct anything before it is saved.
Does it need an internet connection?
Yes. The AI analysis runs in the cloud, so you need mobile data or Wi-Fi when you scan.
Will it delete my spare ways?
No. Spare and blank ways are kept as proper circuit records. Board Vision never removes a circuit for you.
What does it cost?
