We’re excited to announce the complete rebuild of our Remote Signature feature, designed specifically for volume users. This powerful update allows Qualified Supervisors (QS) to sign off electrical certificates remotely, even when they are miles away from the engineer.
Seamless Remote Approval Process
The new system provides a secure restricted area where only the QS can access and approve certificates. Electrical contractors can now efficiently request remote signatures, ensuring compliance, faster approvals, and better record-keeping without unnecessary delays.
How It Works:
- Contractor Sends the Certificate: The contractor submits an unsigned electrical certificate using iCertifi via email, cloud upload, or other secure methods.
- Instant Notification to QS: When the contractor requests a signature through the Remote Signature feature, the QS receives an immediate notification on their device.
- QS Reviews and Approves: The QS accesses their restricted dQS section, where they see certificate details, including the reference number and contractor’s name. Approval is as simple as tapping the Sign button.
- Real-Time Digital Signature: Within seconds (depending on network speed), the QS’s digital signature appears on the contractor’s electrical certificate. The document is now signed and ready for sending.
Enhanced Security Features
Security remains our top priority. The QS section is strictly restricted to the assigned QS via PIN and biometrics authentication, ensuring that only authorized personnel can sign off certificates. Additionally, only one device at a time can be designated as a QS approval device, preventing unauthorised access.
Streamlined Record-Keeping for Compliance
For compliance and auditing purposes, a complete log of all digitally signed certificates is maintained. QS users can track who signed and when, with the option to export these records as a CSV file for further use.
